Privacy Policy

Last updated — May 29, 2026

Currai ("Currai", "we", "us", or "our") provides observability for LLM applications — we trace prompts, tokens, and tool calls so you can debug, measure, and ship with confidence. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Currai you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and authentication details. Authentication is handled by our identity provider (Clerk); we receive a unique identifier and the profile fields you choose to share.

Telemetry you send us. The core of the service is the trace data your application sends: prompts, completions, token counts, latencies, tool calls, metadata, and tags. You control what is included in each trace. Avoid sending secrets, credentials, or regulated personal data you are not permitted to share with a processor.

Usage and billing data. We record processed bytes and other usage metrics to operate the service and calculate billing. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Paddle); we do not store full card numbers.

Technical data. We use cookies that are necessary to run, authenticate, and secure the application, and we keep operational logs to diagnose errors and protect the service.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Currai service.
  • To store, index, and surface the traces you send for search and debugging.
  • To calculate usage, apply plan limits and retention, and process billing.
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, and product changes.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your traces to train models.

Data retention

Trace data is retained according to the retention window of your plan. When the window elapses, or when you delete data or close your account, the affected data is removed from active systems and purged from backups on our normal backup rotation. Account and billing records may be retained as required for legal and accounting purposes.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share data only with service providers who help us operate Currai, under contracts that require them to protect it. Our primary subprocessors include:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management.
  • Convex — application database and backend infrastructure.
  • Google — embeddings and model inference used by the service.
  • Paddle — payment processing and tax handling.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. In that event we will notify you of any material change in how your data is handled.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the dashboard, or by contacting us at the address below. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

International transfers

Currai is operated from, and may process data in, jurisdictions other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

Children's privacy

Currai is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of Currai after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
